The challenge
Symphony is a secure messaging platform used across financial services. SPARC is an application integrated with Symphony chat that lets investment banks send complex financial products to each other: a request-for-quote workflow with a lot of moving state.
The work
Joe worked on SPARC through an agency partner, building the front end in React with Redux Saga to manage the complex asynchronous flows, and the services behind it in Node and Express.
The application was containerised with Docker and deployed on Kubernetes.
