Where AI helps

Drafting and admin

Emails, proposals, job sheets and meeting notes drafted in your tone, ready for your team to check and send.

Quotes and documents

Quotes, reports and documents put together from your own templates and price lists, instead of copied by hand.

Reporting from your data

Ask questions of your spreadsheets, CRM or sales figures in plain English, and get regular reports without building them.

An assistant that knows your business

A private assistant that answers from your own policies, product information and documents, for staff or customers.

AI in your website or app

Search, recommendations, chat or content features built into the website or app you already have.

Team training

Your team shown how to use ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot safely and well, with a simple policy on what’s allowed.

Your data, handled properly

Your data stays yours. We recommend business versions of AI tools that don’t train on what you put in, keep personal data out of them unless there is a lawful reason and a contract in place, and write down what data goes where.

If you start using AI with customer information, the ICO expects your privacy notice to say so. We’ll help you update it, so you can explain to customers how and why you use AI.

Straight answers

Sometimes the honest answer is that AI isn’t worth it yet, or a simpler fix will do. Every opportunity session includes a “not yet” list for exactly that reason.

We won’t promise grant funding or made-up percentage savings. We’ll show you something working in your own business, tell you what it costs to run, and let you decide.

Common questions

How much does AI consulting cost?+

Everything is a fixed price, agreed before we start. Opportunity sessions and team workshops start at £750. Prototypes, pilot builds and ongoing support are quoted once we understand the job.

We’re a small business. Is AI worth it for us?+

Often, yes, as long as you start small. The best first projects are everyday jobs that eat time: admin, quotes, reports and answering the same questions. If AI isn’t worth it for you yet, we’ll say so.

Is it safe to put our data into AI tools?+

It can be, with the right tools and rules. We recommend business plans that don’t train on your data, keep personal data out unless there is a lawful reason and a contract in place, and write down what goes where so you can explain it to customers.

Do we need to buy new software?+

Usually not much. Many jobs can be done with a business plan for ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft Copilot plus a small integration with the tools you already use.

Is there funding for AI projects?+

There is no general AI grant for small businesses at the moment. Business Lincolnshire offers free adviser support that can help you plan, but don’t count on a grant to pay for the work.

Who owns what you build?+

You do: the code, the prompts, the workflows and the written plan. Nothing is locked to us.

Do you work with businesses outside Lincoln?+

Yes. Sessions and workshops can be in person around Lincoln and Lincolnshire, or online anywhere in the UK.
