What an online shop costs

Across the UK, a standard online shop typically costs £5,000 to £15,000 to build. Ours start at £2,500.

The main cost drivers are the number of products and variations, custom features such as subscriptions, bundles or trade pricing, connections to accounts, delivery or stock systems, and moving an existing shop across. You get a fixed quote before we start.

Not sure you need a full shop yet? A website with a simple payment link can be a cheaper first step, and grow into a shop later.

Shops for Lincolnshire businesses

Whether you sell to customers in Lincoln or ship across the UK, the job is the same: a shop that loads quickly, makes buying easy and doesn’t take up your evenings to run.

We’re based in Lincoln, so we can meet to plan the shop, look at your products and stock process, and train your team in person. Selling to schools, trade customers or other businesses? Account pricing, invoices and bulk ordering are all possible.

Common questions

How much does an e-commerce website cost?+

Our online shops start at £2,500. The price depends on the number of products and options, custom features such as subscriptions or trade pricing, integrations, and whether an existing shop needs moving across. You get a fixed quote before we start.

Which platform should my shop use?+

It depends on your products, how you sell and who will run the shop. WooCommerce suits shops that want lots of content alongside products; a custom Next.js shop suits brands that need speed and a tailored experience. We’ll recommend one and explain why.

Can you move our existing shop?+

Yes. We move products, customers and order history where the platforms allow it, and redirect every old product and category URL so you don’t lose Google rankings or customers’ bookmarks.

Will I be able to manage products myself?+

Yes. Adding products, editing prices, running offers and handling orders are all done in the shop’s admin, and we walk your team through it at handover.

Will my products show up on Google?+

Every product page is built with structured data for price and stock, plus a clean sitemap, so Google can show your products properly in search. We can also set up Google Merchant Center if you want to appear in the Shopping tab.

Who looks after the shop after launch?+

We can, on a care plan from £50 a month covering hosting, updates, security patches and small changes. Or we hand it over to your team with documentation.
