The challenge
Wall Street English is an international English-language school with a global website and a family of territory sites for the countries it operates in.
The project was to reimplement the global site and the territory sites on a shared, modern stack, with infrastructure and delivery the business could rely on across markets.
The work
Joe led the build as technical lead through an agency partner, and was the principal day-to-day contact for the client.
The sites were rebuilt in React and TypeScript with Gatsby. Hosting was defined as code with Terraform on AWS, with Docker for consistent builds, and Joe owned the infrastructure and the CI/CD pipeline as well as the front end.
The outcome
The global and territory websites moved onto one shared codebase, with infrastructure defined as code and an automated delivery pipeline behind every release.
